Former MMA fighter, Bojan Mihajlović, 44, is in serious condition at the hospital, after being shot on Saturday, March 22, during a protest in Serbia.

During the protest in Odžaci, Mihajlović was shot in the stomach by a man, who would be the leader of the protest in this city.
According to the press in Serbia, an older conflict would have taken place between the two, and on Saturday night everything escalated. Mihajlović was shot in the abdomen twice by a man, who fled from the scene, the moment being surprised on the surveillance cameras, writes Republica.
The injured man was transported to the Clinical Center in Vojvodina. Police are working intensely to shed light on all the circumstances of this event and to identify and find the attacker.
“The police work intensely to determine all the circumstances of the incident in Odžaci and to get the answer to the question if the man in the picture is also the one who fired in Odžaci”, Writes Informer.
The situation in Serbia is still very tense, after the protests that have brought hundreds of thousands of people against the government and president of the country, Aleksandar Vucic, considered responsible for the tragedy at Novi Sad Station on November 1, 2024, when 15 people died.
Bojan Mihajlović (44 years old), who is from Odžaci, had 16 appearances in his career, obtaining 10 victories and 6 defeats, while in the UFC he fought three times.
