Anca Alexandrescu announced on Monday what plans she has after coming in second place in the elections for the General City Hall of the Capital: from Tuesday evening, December 9, she will be the moderator of the show that consecrated her, “Behind the scenes of the parallel state”.
“Starting tomorrow evening, I will be the TV moderator again, Anca Alexandrescu, because I have to keep my promises to the thousands of Bucharest residents I met this week. I have the obligation to return and do what I promised, in order to be able to recover our country”. Alexandrescu stated in an intervention on Realitatea TV.
“There is no time to discuss what happened in these elections. I am the only man who managed to defeat Nicușor Dan. It is a huge victory that we managed to defeat the USR and the system, an important victory against the mafia that threw millions of euros at the candidate Daniel Băluță. It is inadmissible that millions of euros are thrown on electoral campaigns for gangs. My job is to keep the sovereignists and carry forward what the Romanians asked me to do. Romanians need us. Nobody expected us to get this score. When I entered the battle, not even 5% was given to me. I will remain fair, a convinced sovereignist and I will defend myself from those who will accuse me of making propaganda for the sovereignists. I will continue on this path of faith, of unity and only together will they win”. Anca Alexandrescu also said.
PNL candidate Ciprian Ciucu singlehandedly won the elections for the Capital City Hall in 5 of the 6 sectors of Bucharest. The Liberal stands at a score of over 36%, having an advance of about 83,000 votes over the second place holder, Anca Alexandrescu, supported by AUR, who is at about 22%.
Placing Anca Alexandrescu in second place contradicts both exit-poll estimates and an INSCOP survey, which indicated PSD candidate Daniel Băluță as Ciucu’s main counter-candidate.
In third place is the PSD candidate, Daniel Băluță, with 20.51%. He is also the candidate who obtained the majority of votes in sector 4, where he is the mayor.
