The students of the eighth grade will officially end the exam period on July 10, 2025, with the final results at the National Assessment, after resolving the appeals.
According to the calendar established by the Ministry of Education, between 11 and 21 July, graduates will be able to complete their enrollment sheets, indicating options for admission to high school. Each candidate has the right to participate in the computerized distribution in a single county.
The stages of enrolling in high school
- On July 11, 2025, the hierarchy at the county/Bucharest municipality of the eighth grade graduates will be announced, depending on the average from the National Assessment.
- July 14-21, 2025: Completing the options in the registration sheets by the eighth-grade graduates and by their parents, assisted by the eighth-grade leaders/ completing the registration records by the eighth-grade graduates who want to participate in admission to another county and the submission/ submission of the National Commission.
- July 14 – 21, 2025: Introduction to the computerized database (in the centralized computer application) of the data from the registration sheets.
- July 21, 2025: Transmission of the database from the county admission plants/of the municipality of Bucharest to the National Admission Center by confirming, by it, the completion of the specific operations, in the centralized computer application.
- July 22, 2025: verification and correction of possible errors in the databases, such as candidates in the database for computerized admission and who have already been admitted to the high schools, which are held aptitude tests, etc., by the National Admission Commission and the county admission commissions/of the municipality of Bucharest; transmitting changes to the National Commission.
Computed distribution is done on July 23, 2025
- July 23, 2025: Computed distribution in the high school education of the eighth grade graduates who do not turn 18 years until the beginning of the school year 2025 – 2026.
- July 23, 2025: Communication of the results of the candidates distributed computerized in high school
- 24 – 29 July 2025: submission of registration files to the schools to which the candidates were assigned
- July 29, 2025: The transmission by the high school educational units of the situation of the places left free after the non -comprehension of the candidates admitted to this stage of admission
- July 30 – August 1, 2025: The resolution by the county admission commission/ of the municipality of Bucharest, of the special situations that appeared after the computerized distribution stage.
Second stage of admission to high school education
- August 1, 2025: displaying the admission center, the situation of the remaining places;
- August 4, 2025: the registration of candidates for the aptitude tests or the tests of verification of the modern or maternal language knowledge;
- 5 – 6 August 2025: conducting aptitude tests or tests of verification of modern or maternal language knowledge;
- 7 – 8 August 2025: displaying the results on the aptitude tests and the tests of verification of the modern or maternal language knowledge and solving the possible appeals;
- 11 – 13 August 2025: receiving the applications for registration of the candidates who were distributed computerized in the first stage of admission, but who did not submit their registration files in the term, of the candidates who were rejected in the high schools/classes that organized the aptitude tests and of the candidates who supported the modern language tests;
- 18 – 19 August 2025: the distribution of the candidates from the second stage, by the county admission committee/of the municipality of Bucharest.
- August 19, 2025: the transmission to the National Center for Admission of the Distribution results by confirming the conclusion of the specific operations in the centralized computer application. ”, According to the Official Calendar of High School in 2025, published by the Ministry of Education.
Acts required for enrollment at high school
The submission of the registration files to the high school education units to which the candidates were admitted is carried out between July 24 and 29, 2025. The registration file must contain:
- ID card (if applicable) copy;
- the birth certificate, in copy;
- certificate with the notes and general average obtained at the national evaluation of the eighth grade;
- the registration sheet for classes V-VIII (with the calculations of the general average);
