Anastasiu was the president of the Romanian-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry and a member of the Advisory Council of the Romanian Business Leaders Foundation for almost 10 years. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Federation of the hotel industry in Romania and spokesman for the Alliance for Tourism.
