Musical again on the large stage of the comic work for children – a must see!
“School of Rock” returns to the stage, a musical whose director is also signed by Emil Pantelimon and whose distribution are the same exceptional children registered in the School of Musical Program. 16 representations are scheduled in June, and the last tickets are available on opecomica.ro!
The theater critic Monica Andronescu stated in a chronicle of the premiere of 2021 that “the musical School of Rock staged at the comic work for children is, beyond sensational music, a story about broken dreams and fulfilled dreams. And … in our period obsessed with parenting, a magnificent parenting lesson … to mount such production in such a complicated period as the one we have crossed is in itself an act of courage. But to succeed in Romania, where the history of the musical is quite thin, and the conditions for such mega-production are far from extraordinary, to make a show as School of Rockis a performance.
Nearly 20 children on stage, singing live, a huge energy, a joy to play and sing as I have never seen on a Bucharest stage, a gorgeous story about a little sad, with a child’s soul, who dreams up to the white canvas to sing … and to teach others, To a musical I would say almost necessary during this ugly, gray, sad period, in which children and adults alike were forced to stay away from each other. The joy of a rediscovered “together” is School of Rockafter months of “socializing” online. “
