Horses have always intrigued Michael. This is demonstrated by his many appearances at the riding stables with his wife. While he was with my father in Dubai, they rode some Arabian horses. Then Michael fell off one of them. Next to it was a Quarter Horse (no – an American breed) to calm the others down, and my mother said she wanted a horse like this“.

The former pilot had made a prediction about his daughter, Gina. His wife Corinna revealed: “When Gina was only 10 years old, Michael told me that she would be better than me: «She is more selfish. When you’re an athlete, you have to be, in a certain way. And that’s a good thing. Otherwise, you will never achieve anything.” Today, I think he was absolutely right“.
