Who will be the new interim manager of the “Matei Balş” Institute after the dismissal of the doctor Cătălin Apostolescu

The interim leadership of the institute was taken over by the medical director, Dr. Adrian Marinescu. The Ministry of Health announced today that Dr. Cătălin Apostolescu, manager of the National Institute of Infectious Diseases “Prof. Dr. Matei Balș”, was released from his position.

The Ministry of Health transmits:Release from the position of manager of the National Institute of Infectious Diseases of Dr. Cătălin Apostolescu was made in accordance with the provisions of art. 184 para. (1) letter p) from Law no. 95/2006″.

According to the mentioned legal provisions, the management contract is terminated “in the case of the existence of 3 consecutive months of overdue payments, the age of which is greater than the due date of payment, respectively of arrears, in the event that at the time of signing the management contract, the health unit does not register arrears”. Thus, “The medical director of the institute, Dr. Adrian Marinescu, was appointed as interim manager”.
