Users of the popular Yahoo Mail application have reported that the service is not working.

The popular email service Yahoo Mail has stopped working and thousands of customers are unable to access their emails and accounts, writes express.co.uk.
“Some users may be experiencing issues with the Yahoo Mail app. We are investigating and will update as needed,” it shows on a Yahoo customer service page posted on X.
Customers expressed their frustration online, with user X @Cyberbloke saying: “Yahoo mail app not working on iPhone. It just shuts down.”
“Every time I go to open the yahoo mail app on my phone it won't open – it just freezes today.” said @raisahassanXOX.
This free email service was launched in 1997 and remains incredibly popular with consumers around the world.
“Same problem, won't even open. I've cleared cache and uninstalled/reinstalled the app and it still won't work. Total nightmare” said user X @storey_caroline.
Others have noted that the entire Yahoo Mail site is not loading messages, not just the smartphone apps for iPhone and Android.
As of Tuesday afternoon, there were more than 8,000 problem reports on the popular Down Detector website, where technical service customers can report problems.
