Adelina Chivu spoke openly about her love story with Cristi Chivu, after 17 years of marriage. Returned to television as a presenter on “The X Factor”she confessed that she is “obsessed” by his husband and that he is by his side at all the matches, regardless of the circumstances.
Adelina Chivu (42 years old) returned after 16 years of absence from television
Adelina Chivu spoke about her relationship with her husband, Cristi Chivu, after 17 years of marriage. Although they live in Milan with their two daughters, Adelina returned to Romania to present “X Factor” with Mihai Morar. She told how they met when she was working as a sports news anchor and opened up about their married life.
“I’ve never talked about it before! I gave up everything for Cristi. But I’m not sorry, because he is my life”she confessed on the Fain & Simplu podcast.
“I have never seen such kindness in anyone’s eyes“, she added in Mihai Morar’s podcast.
“Cristi is my life. I’m obsessed with him, and after all this time I feel the same way“, she added.
“I am obsessed with him after 17 years of marriage. (…) I am present at all the matches, I sat in puddles, on the chair, in the snow, in the rain, I was not absent, I was also in a few away matches. (..) I’m going anyway. (no matches)”, said Adelina Chivu.
Chivu’s muse
Adelina Chivu is convinced of Cristi’s deep love, pointing out that he proves his feelings through gestures. She believes they both learned from each other and that Cristi shows her appreciation more than she speaks.
“I am sure that he has the deepest feelings towards me. Muse sounds like an inspirational term to me. I’m sure he’s learned things from me, I feel like I’ve learned a lot from him, so he might be… He’s the type that shows you more than he tells you. He never said “if it wasn’t for you I would never…” but he shows me that he values me“, confesses Adelina Chivu.
Adelina Chivu mentioned that for her her husband represents a “source of inspiration, a mentor“. “These two combined. I like his strength.” she adds.
How they met the footballer
Adelina Chivu, originally from Piatra Neamț, studied journalism in Bucharest and started her career as a sports editor at Mediafax. Later, she was a presenter at Antena 1 and Antena 3.
At 15, she won the title of Miss Piatra Neamț, but chose a career in the media. He met Cristi Chivu during his work as a sports presenter, and the two married in 2008, having two daughters together: Natalia (born in 2009) and Anastasia (born in 2010).
Cristi Chivu is a famous former footballer, played for teams such as Ajax, AS Roma and Internazionale Milano, and was captain of the Romanian national team. He speaks fluent Dutch, English, Italian and Romanian.
The Chivu family lives in Milan.
