The experts from Wild Frontiers made a top of the tourist destinations around the globe that will be trending in 2025. And, along with Romania, the top also included Albania, Algeria, Saudi Arabia, Armenia, Bolivia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Cambodia, Egypt, Ghana, Kyrgyzstan, Montenegro, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Turkey.
“Romania is known for its fascinating history, medieval castles and picturesque Transylvanian landscapes, as well as many others. Its relatively unknown status among travelers makes it a highly attractive destination for travelers eager to discover a country full of special attractions and landscapes. We must not forget the beautiful medieval monasteries of Bucovina that are in the UNESCO heritage, the breathtaking mountain landscapes or the fact that there have been bison again in Romania for several years. The vampire legends from the Sighisoara area are also a very special attraction. It must also be said that Romanian cuisine is impressive, with many mouth-watering dishes”say the Wild Fontiers specialists.
The London-headquartered travel agency was founded in 1998 by writer Jonny Bealby, who has several travel books published around the globe.
He decided to set up the travel agency after traveling extensively in Asia, especially India, Afghanistan and Pakistan, and was captivated by the natural beauty of these countries. As a result, it decided to offer tourism experiences focused more on discovering the natural beauty of each country.
“Rural traditions in Romania are a lifestyle, and that’s another reason why a trip to Romania is one royal for the senses. Romania is the only country from the former communist bloc in Eastern Europe that executed its leader, but it is also the birthplace of Vlad Țepeș, the harsh ruler who gave birth to the legend of Dracula”add the experts from the travel agency in London.
