“Yes, we know the chorus «At the pharmacy!»Mr. Bolojan … we know. I did not forget how one who is now presidential counselor screams and shook in Victoriei Square “Who does not jump …”. We know. You would probably want if you could revive the glory years of the PDL, when, if you did not align, you were quickly a file and you were judged in the public market. Fortunately, Mr. Bolojan, it doesn’t work. This country can no longer be driven with the terror of the handcuffs – the reform on the rhythm of handcuffs. We will never allow that again. And, if you think you will govern, don’t count on the PSD. We cannot be comrades in such attitude and mentality“Fifor wrote on Facebook.

PSD rejects how the prime minister warns local authorities

Mihai Fifor stresses that PSD “denounces and categorically rejects the way in which Prime Minister Bolojan understood to warn the mayors and the presidents of the county councils in relation to the obligation of the payment of CAS and CASS ”. He draws attention: “Not threatening with prisoner solves the problem! The local editors are not bad faith and even less they can be treated as potential criminals. The prime minister should consider him a dialogue partners, not targets of his frustrations, at least for the reason that they are chosen by people and, therefore, they have the fuller democratic legitimacy ”.

Social-democrats say that the real problems of local administrations come from the lack of financial resources. “The government not only does not provide the usual allocations anymore, but has come to take from the resources of the city halls and councils under various pretexts“, States Fifor.

“The mayors cannot be accused for the budgetary chaos created at the center. Ultimately, beyond money, the problem is attitude and mentality. Prime Minister Bolojan remains the prisoner of the arbitrary conduct, of a local baron who cut and hang, from the time when he was mayor in Oradea or president of the County Council. I cannot take place of government ”Fifor said.

The PSD deputy points out that his party has the obligation to sanction such skids: “We have full justification to ask for dialogue, collaboration, respect and the good faith of the Coalition Protocol. Equally, we have a duty to denounce excesses and defend democratic principles. It depends only on Prime Minister Bolojan if he wants to remain in the logic of conflict and strength, or if he understands that Romania needs a leader who listens, does not threaten. A leader who builds, does not impose by fear ”.

Prime Minister Bolojan’s response

In reply, Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan said that there are no reasons for blockages in the central or local administration. He added that next week the necessary changes will be made to maintain compulsory limitations, but the minor repair constraints or normal operation will be eliminated.

“Each one has to take care of money, because we have no resources to cover the lack of efficiency or lack of predictability in expenses.”Bolojan warned. The prime minister also stated that next week he will publish the list with all the town halls and public authorities, which, in August, have registered payment arrears.

The previous practices by which the government came for a firefighter to extinguish premeditated fires, triggered from the local, will no longer work“He concluded.
