Mirel Rădoi’s adventure at FCSB is about to end! The technician would have to say goodbye to the red-blue grouping, much earlier than had been agreed. Initially, Rădoi would have agreed with the representatives of the capital club to take over the team until the summer.
Meanwhile, the coach would have received an offer he couldn’t refuse. Gaziantep, currently ranked 11th in Turkey, recently parted ways with coach Burak Yilmaz.
According to Turkish journalists, Mirel Rădoi would have already clashed with the team officials, the match with Farul being the last for him on the FCSB bench.
At Gaziantep, the Romanian technician will have Deian Sorescu, Alex Maxim and Denis Drăguș under his command. Radoi would arrive in Turkey on Tuesday, to sign the contract with the Turks.

The reason why he is leaving FCSB
At the end of the match between FCSB and Oțelul, won by Bucharest 4-0, Gigi Becali would have thundered at Vlad Chiricheș. Dissatisfied with the defender’s performance, the FCSB boss declared himself willing to intervene, in case Radoi plans to rely on the footballer in question.
Most likely, the intervention of Gigi Becali also had a big impact on Rădoi’s decision to leave FCSB, in the context in which the technician requested a free hand at the team level, when he took over the red-blues.
“Why this reaction? I don’t understand!”
During the press conference at the end of the game with Galați, Mirel Rădoi admitted that he did not expect Gigi Becali to break his promise.
“I didn’t expect the reaction to come so early. I said that I was influenced by the fever of the match, by the result, but I looked at the game again, on the data.
In no half, from the matches so far, has the opponent had an expected goals percentage of 0.01. We had the most balls recovered in the opponent’s half in this play-out. This season it was the third game played at home in which we did not concede a goal.
All this made me wonder: ‘Why this reaction?’. In the end, the game was unlocked by Chiri’s pass. That’s how Tănase managed to dribble into touch, pass back and exit the penalty phase. There’s probably something personal there.
I am currently placed in a different situation. If you put him in, you’re against the boss, if you don’t put him in, because he doesn’t train well, it will be said that I’m acting like the boss and bothering the other players. He will say: ‘Dude, is it happening like before?’. We created this situation for ourselves!“said Mirel Rădoi.
