Prime Minister Luca Niculescu declared on Tuesday that he has a constant dialogue with President Nicusor Dan, based on “a relationship of trust and mutual respect”, starting from the constitutional coordinates of each function.
Luca Niculescu was asked on Tuesday, on TVR 1, about his relationship with the head of state and whether there are specific important situations in which he needs an institutional, perhaps personal, discussion with the head of state.
“I would say that it is a relationship of trust, of mutual respect. Everyone has the coordinates of their position well written in the Constitution. There are areas such as foreign policy, security, where the President of Romania has an extremely important role and we discuss there frequently, but, yes, I have a constant dialogue with Mr. President,” said Prime Minister Luca Niculescu, according to Agerpres.
