A student from Bucharest, 14 years old at the time of the crime, was sent to court by the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the 1st District Court, being accused of hitting a teacher two years ago on the grounds that she had spoken ill of her family, the teacher needing medical attention after falling and hitting her head.
“On 19.10.2026, the investigations were completed, being ordered by the case prosecutor from the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Bucharest District 1 Court to send him to court, in a state of freedom, and to notify the Bucharest District Court 1 regarding a natural person under the aspect of committing the crime of hitting or other violence. In fact, it was essentially noted that on the date of 16.10.2024, around 3:25 p.m., while at Secondary School No. 5 in Bucharest, Calea Victoriei No. 1, the defendant, a student in the school unit, pushed the injured person, a teacher in the same school unit, causing the injured person to fall and hit her in the head and shoulders area traumatic for which healing required 6-7 days of medical care”, the Prosecutor’s Office announced on Wednesday, in a press release.
The student would have learned from a colleague that the teacher had spoken ill of her family, an aspect that led her to enter the room where she was, to hit her on the hands and push her. The teacher fell and hit her head.
