Adult film star Sophia Leone died after being found “unresponsive” in her New Mexico apartment on March 1. Police are investigating the cause of death, according to the family.

“Sophia was a beloved daughter, sister, niece, nephew and friendLeone's stepfather Mike Romero wrote on a GoFundMe page set up to honor the actress.
“She had a deep love for all animals, especially her 3 pets. She loved to travel and always found ways to make everyone around her smile,” writes nypost.com.
Los Angeles modeling agency 101 Modeling, which handled some of Leone's bookings, said the adult film star's death is being investigated as “robbery and murder”.
“To be clear, Sophia's death is being investigated as a robbery and a murder.” wrote @101modelinginc on X Saturday.
Romero also noted on her GoFundMe page that the family “seek justice for Sophia”.
Brian Berke, who runs Leone's Florida agency, AMA Modeling, expressed his dismay at Leone's death
“At 18 years old you started with me at AMA, and now, at 26 years old, I have to say goodbye to you”, wrote Berke on X.
“We had such an amazing bond. Always reminding each other how much we care. I was supposed to be your guardian angel. A piece of me is gone. I love you Sophia.”
The Miami-born porn star debuted in the industry in 2014 and has starred in more than 80 films, according to her IMDb page.

“I can't understand why you of all people .. and I can only hope that we are strong and brave your last moments here . . . I pray that you were not in pain.”
“Rest in Peace SOPHIA LEON”, wrote adult film actress Valeri Casteele. “You were so kind to me, just one of many absolutely amazing people with a beautiful heart. We will miss you so much.”
News of Leone's death comes days after it was announced that his co-star, porn star Emily Willis, “fighting for her life” after she was found unresponsive in a Malibu rehab center where she was being treated for addiction.
The 25-year-old adult film actress, real name Litzy Lara Banulos, had been at the celebrity rehab center for eight days when she went into cardiac arrest on Feb. 5, her stepfather Michael Willis said.
It appears that she is currently in “vegetative coma”.
Although her condition has stabilized, the family is preparing for the worst, her stepfather said.
