To benefit from this support, the gross monthly income per family member must not exceed 500 lei. The Euro 200 program is aimed exclusively at pupils and students who meet this condition.

The number of pupils and students benefiting from this support has increased compared to previous years: in 2023 there were 2,170 beneficiaries, and in 2024, 1,912 people received this aid. In 2026, 2,289 young people from the whole country were included on the official list, according to Edupedu.ro.

According to the official calendar, vouchers can be used to purchase computers between September 7 and October 16. After the purchase, the beneficiaries must submit the proof of payment, in the form of the invoice and the handover-receipt report, by October 30, 2026.

Economic operators who accept these vouchers will have the obligation to submit them for settlement by October 30.

Vouchers will be distributed to school inspectorates and universities between August 11 and 28. Beneficiaries will be able to pick them up between August 31 and September 12 directly from the educational units they belong to.

Pupils and students who have been selected are encouraged to consult the list published in the Official Gazette to confirm eligibility and to comply with the terms of the official program calendar. This financial support gives young people the opportunity to purchase a computer, an essential tool for their education.
