Actor Andrei Ionescu, husband of the great actress Ileana Stana-Ionescu, died on Wednesday. The announcement was made by actress Monica Davidescu.

Monica Davidescu, who announced the death of the actor, sent an emotional message on social networks.

“Have a smooth journey through the universe, Mr. Andrei! I hope you meet your soul mate, Ileana Stana! God rest you both! Condolences, Andrei the son!“, conveys the actress.

The loss of Ilena Stana-Ionescu in June 2024 was a heavy blow for Andrei Ionescu, but their love remained an inspiration to all who knew them. Now, the two find themselves in another universe, perhaps continuing that love story that overcame time and life’s challenges.

The two formed an impressive couple through their devotion but also professionally. However, Andrei confessed in an interview that he was not attracted to Ilena at the first meeting.
