Sebastian Burduja, the Minister of Energy publicly criticized Nicușor Dan, accusing him of ignoring the real problems of Bucharest and that he did nothing concrete to reduce public spending.
“Do you know the definition of the imposture? The mayor of the capital – improperly said, given that, in recent months, he has dealt with anything other than the problems of Bucharest – has been awake today to talk about the efficiency of public spending“, Burduja wrote in a post on social networks.
He claims that, in the nearly five years of mandate, Nicușor Dan did not take any real measures to reduce the waste from the Bucharest City Hall and that the debts of the institution are even higher than four years ago.
“The same mayor claiming to have taken out the town hall out of bankruptcy and escaped it, when, in fact, It has rolling debts And we are even older than four years ago – as are the 1.2 billion lei to Elcen, who are now risking EUR 361 million, European money obtained with us at the Ministry of Energy, money for the modernization of the three CETs from 1960-1970 (South, Progress and Grozavești)“, The minister said.
Ministry of Energy, reorganized. Burduja asks the same to the City Hall
Burduja also emphasized that the Ministry of Energy has already gone through a reorganization process, reducing the number of positions with 27% and 35% of the management positions, suggesting that the City Hall should follow a similar example.
“You don’t have to take you after us, Mr. Nicușor Dan, but at least try to seem to make the expenses more efficient.” Burduja added.
He also asked the general mayor to implement the decision to denounce the twinning agreement of Bucharest with Moscow: “For this you should not ask anyone.”
“A politician of the type” so “
Finally, Burduja accused Nicușor Dan of being no longer the independent politician who fights the system, but only “a Politician of the type “so no””.
“This is the pure definition of imposture: to give yourself as a savior while you are unable to manage a city, talk about the debts of others when you have accumulated some huge, mimic morality while humiliating people who have been with you. After all, it is clear that it is not interesting. Burduja concluded.
So far, Nicușor Dan did not provide a public response to the charges.
