CFR Cluj drew a draw, at home, in front of Sepsi, even though it was led 3-1 until the 84th minute. Virgiliu Postolachi managed two goals at the end, but Dan Petrescu’s chair is shaking more and more Harder.
The Transylvanians have reached a disastrous record in the last 6 rounds, during which they have achieved only one victory. After the draw in the previous stage in Ploiesti, CFR Cluj failed to impose itself even now, drawing 3-3 against Sepsi. The fans couldn’t take it anymore and shouted again “Resign, Resign”being in agreement with the patron Ioan Varga, who is preparing the landing of Dan Petrescu.
“Obviously we wanted to be higher in the standings, but we are there and fighting for a playoff spot. It’s a tight championship. I understand that the world is used to the good, but there are times and when the world should be with the players. At home we attack too much, our problem is in defense. It’s not normal to get three goals from three shots. We have to settle for this point, it’s a big point. If there were five minutes left, I’m sure we would have scored the winning goal. The equal is little but it’s fair”, declared Dan Petrescu immediately after the game.
CFR Cluj received two goals from its former players
Marius Coman, former striker of Cluj, opened the scoring for Sepsi OSK (37), but CFR equalized at the end of the first half through Liberian Mohammed Kamara (52). Shortly after, the guests took the lead again, through the goal of defender Denis Ciobotariu (55).
