The Meta announces that it will launch a section called Friends in the Facebook application, where you will be displayed exclusively for friends.

Concerned about the threat from Tiktok, Meta has focused in recent years on “The discovery of the content”, bringing to its Facebook and Instagram users’s feeds content throughout the network.
Now, recognizing the frustration of dissatisfied users that they miss important posts of friends because of this, Meta comes with a compromise, according to News.ro.
Without changing how the main flow works, Facebook will group all the content created by friends in a special section, called Friends.
The new section should not be confused with the flow that already exists in Facebook and which only displays friends of friends, but in reverse chronological order.
The Friends section will work as Facebook worked in the beginning, organizing friends’ posts, including Reels and Stories, with the help of algorithm.
Meta says that this will be only one in a longer series of functions that will bring the original charm of the social network.
