On March 22 and 26, the Romanian national football team will play two friendly matches, with Northern Ireland and Colombia respectively, with a view to participating in Euro 2024. Among those preliminarily summoned by the coach of the first representative team are also the three players who are no longer playing for the teams of the club, but who seriously put their shoulder to Romania's qualification for the European Championship in Germany: Ianis Hagi, Radu Drăgușin and Horațiu Moldovan.

Romania will start this year's training matches against Northern Ireland, on March 22, at the National Arena. Four days later, the “tricolors” will play against Colombia at Atletico Madrid's stadium, in Spain. Before participating in Euro 2024, Edi Iordănescu's national team will play, in June, two more friendly games, both in Bucharest, at the Steaua stadium: Tuesday, June 4, against Bulgaria, and Saturday, June 8, against the representative team from Liechtenstein, he states frf.ro website.
