HONOR launched in Europe, at an event held at the Porsche Experience Center in Leipzig, the HONOR Magic V2 – the world's thinnest inward-folding smartphone.

HONOR Magic V2 is the thinnest inward-folding smartphone that HONOR has released to date. It weighs only 231g and is only 9.9mm thick when folded. The smartphone has a new generation of dual silicon-carbon batteries with an average thickness of only 2.72mm, offering a capacity of 5,000mAh and wireless charging at 66W.
The thickness of the entire device is measured at the thinnest point and does not include the camera protrusion. Product size may vary depending on configuration, manufacturing process and measurement methods. The specification details are for reference only.
In addition to the slim design, HONOR Magic V2 uses materials from the aeronautical industry and a titanium alloy hinge created using 3D printing technology, a first for foldable devices. SGS certification guarantees durability, exceeding 400,000 folds.
Internally, the smartphone comes with SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 (4 nm), GPU Adreno 740, internal storage of 256GB/ 512GB/ 1TB and 16GB RAM. Android 13 operating system with MagicOS 7.2 interface.
HONOR Magic V2 is equipped with a triple camera system, which includes a 50MP main camera (f/1.9), a 50MP ultra-wide camera (f/2.0) and a 20MP telephoto camera (f/2.4) . In the front, it has two 16 MP cameras (f/2.2).
HONOR Magic V2 has 3840Hz PWM Dimming technology, which helps reduce eye fatigue.

On the software side, the Hover functions for video conferencing, music playback and photography stand out. The introduction of Dual Tasking Efficiency, facilitated by a vertically split screen, optimizes multitasking.
HONOR also presented the PORSCHE DESIGN HONOR Magic V2 RSR, a smartphone with a bold design inspired by motor sports, with lines similar to the bonnet of a Porsche 911 and equipped with a NanoCrystal Shield anti-scratch screen.
The HONOR Magic V2 foldable smartphone model is available for pre-order in Romania, from January 26, in two color variants, Silk Purple and Black – a special version with a vegan leather back, and can be purchased from operators and retailers at a price starting from 9999 lei.
