Andreea Esca revealed the first images of the new project she is developing with her family in Porumbacu de Sus. The star is preparing the opening of a “Cultural Home” modern, a space for creative meetings, art and community events.
The new place will bear the name “Take Escana”, inspired by an expression the presenter used as a child when she was asked by locals who she was.
The star announced that the space will open its doors this summer and that exhibitions, workshops for children and adults, as well as cultural events will be organized here.
“This summer we will open the doors, literally and figuratively, of a Cultural Home, version 2026, in Porumbacu de Sus. I can’t wait to gather for a coffee, in the garden, and enjoy talented artists, skilled craftsmen, exciting exhibitions and workshops for adults and children. The place will be called A ‘lu Escana, @a_lu_escana, because that’s how I answered, in childhood, on the street, when someone would ask me: Whose are you, child? I will keep you updated, with great love, but also with many emotions!”, wrote Andreea Esca on Facebook, along with some pictures of the location.
The project is near the guesthouse that the journalist owns with her husband, Alexandre Eram, in the Sibiu town. The two invested in the area a few years ago, and later decided to expand the concept to a cultural space for both locals and tourists.
Andreea Esca told that the idea came to her after a visit near Munich, where she discovered a place that immediately inspired her.
“I had a wish fulfilled in June 2024, when during the German football championship, I discovered a place not far from Munich that I liked very much and that I immediately imagined in Porumbacu”, the star confessed last year.
The presenter explained that the project developed gradually, and together with the team involved, she decided to transform the space into a cultural center dedicated to the community and visitors who come to the area for hiking or relaxation.
