The Lenovo 100e Chromebook Gen 4 laptop is fast with enhanced security features, powered by an Intel® N-Series processor. The ChromeOS platform gives students the tools they need both in and out of the classroom. The laptop weighs approximately 1.5 kg and provides up to 12 hours of battery life. The 11.6-inch clamshell design and optional touch screen allow for school activities as well as collaboration and research sessions.
Lenovo's DuraSpec and MIL-SPEC 810H equipment testing methods for the educational environment certify that the Lenovo 100e Chromebook Gen 4 is designed to withstand shocks, accidental drops, and spills. The new and easy-to-maintain keyboard, with a design that offers more privacy, can withstand accidental spills of up to 360ml. In addition, reinforced ports and hinges, as well as rubber bumpers, provide a superior degree of strength.
The Lenovo 100e Chromebook Gen 4 is well protected inside. Additional security features can be added to the device thanks to ThinkShield's portfolio of security solutions (sold separately), which include Absolute® for device tracking, assessment and management, and SentinelOne®, which provides end-to-end security through artificial intelligence, with actions real-time prevention, detection and response against both known and new malware strains.

Other security features offered by ChromeOS include sandboxing, safe browsing, and the Google-designed Titan C security chip, along with regular automatic security updates that happen in the background.

Services and software solutions for the educational environment
Through the Lenovo Chrome Education bundles, customers have access to several software solutions with Lenovo hardware equipment. Lenovo's education packages include the Chrome Education Upgrade, which enables schools to create educational environments for students, teachers and teaching staff with advanced management, security and support capabilities.
