The month of love comes with an exceptional surprise for theater and…jazz lovers. After last year's premiere, which won the hearts of the spectators, “Love for Sale” will have a new performance, at Sala Luceafărul in Bucharest.

The show masterfully combines theater, dance and jazz music in a touching love story. The protagonists, Jazzy Jo and Petru Călinescu, promise to stir up emotions and bring a unique note to the Romanian scene.
“Love for Sale”, an original musical, created and directed by the talented Claudia Ciobanu, promises to win the hearts of the spectators through the harmonious combination of theatre, dance and jazz music. It is an independent show, produced by AMTeatru.

“In Love for Sale, theatre, dance and jazz music come together to tell the story of a She and a He who are wondering what the deal is with this love, if they can build something together from the failures before, if it can be different. It's a musical jukebox, if you will, with well-known jazz pieces, like the pearls of a necklace whose string is the script. That's the image I would use to describe him, I can't help but wax a little poetic”says the screenwriter and director of the play.

The protagonists bring freshness and a lot of passion to their performance. Jazzy Jo, also known as Ioana Sihota, describes the show as “a twist of love despite reason and the past”.
“Love for Sale is a story of emotional resilience after an age where you've seen and done almost everything, of how to love despite reason and the past. Love for Sale was born from the maturity of its creators, from the life experience of each of us, it is largely inspired by us. Also, Petru Călinescu declares himself delighted to be part of a “poetic debate about love in the age of Instagram”.
“Love For Sale is a real joy for me, to be on stage performing my soulful songs as part of a poetic debate about love in the age of Instagram. The director Claudia Ciobanu was careful not to keep us too much in our comfort zone, and that caught us very well! He knew how to bring out the best in us and value each of us. I really don't know which is the greater joy for me as a performer: to be on stage with so many talented colleagues or to look into the eyes of the audience and see that they resonate perfectly with what we convey from the stage!”the protagonist of the play shares with us.
