Marilyn Manson is coming to Rockstadt Extreme Festthe biggest rock and metal festival in Romania. The shock-rock legend returns to our country after 18 years and takes the stage for the first time at the event that annually attracts tens of thousands of fans, including an impressive number of foreign tourists.
Manson thus joins a strong rock and metal lineup, consolidating the festival’s position as the most important profile event in Romania and a benchmark for the international community. Almost 40 bands are already confirmed, among them Sabaton, Godsmack, Helloween, Black Label Society, In Flames, Slaughter To Prevail
and many others.
The month of December is dedicated to major announcements: the organizers will continue to expand the lineup with new artists, and confirmations will be communicated progressively throughout the month. Rockstadt Extreme Fest is preparing a spectacular edition, with a lineup that will constantly grow, maintaining the high interest of fans from Romania and abroad.
Launched in 2013, Rockstadt Extreme Fest has grown steadily, becoming a meeting point for fans from all over the world and a cultural phenomenon for the rock and metal scene in Romania.
The festival takes place annually in Brașov county and is preparing for a major change: in 2026Rockstadt Extreme Fest will move to Ghimbavin a new, much larger location with improved infrastructure. The new site offers extended spaces for participants, easy access thanks to the nearby train station and optimized conditions for camping, accommodation and logistics.
The community of rock and metal fans that surrounds the festival is international, fiercely loyal and deeply passionate, bringing together participants from all over Europe and even beyond the continent. The festival has become an annual tradition, a gathering of heavy music devotees who plan their vacations around the event and return year after year.
Marilyn Mansonone of alternative rock’s most influential and controversial figures, marked global culture with defining albums such as Antichrist Superstar, Mechanical Animals and Holy Wood. His theatrical style, dark visuals and the intense energy of his live shows have made him an icon for generations of rebels and outsiders.
