An emblematic figure of Romanian sports and business, Ion Țiriac, will be honored this year by the American-Romanian Alliance, receiving the “Lifetime Achievement Award” at the organization’s annual Gala.
The event will take place on December 11, 2025 at the Willard Hotel in Washington DC and will bring together political leaders, cultural figures and renowned business people.
The Alliance, a non-profit and non-partisan organization dedicated to strengthening relations between Romania and the United States, has in the past awarded distinctions to personalities such as former President George W. Bush or Romanian entrepreneur Anastasia Soare, highlighting the significant contributions to the strategic partnership between the two countries.
Former champion and successful entrepreneur, Ion Țiriac will thus add to his record a prestigious recognition, designed to celebrate his entire career and his impact over the years in sports and business.
