Mircea Rednic no longer continues at UTA Arad, after saving her team from relegation. The coach, who was throughout the season in a permanent conflict with the supporters, announced the leadership that he is leaving the club, not before sending an ironic message to the fans “the old lady”.

At the end of today’s match with Gloria Buzău, ended 0-0, although the guests are already relegated and sent the junior, the spectators asked Mircea Rednic’s resignation. The “Puriul” pleased them to the Flash-intervium after the match, announcing that they are leaving: “I congratulate the players and everyone I worked with this season. I managed to save the UTA for the third time, I hope the results will help us and finish above. What problems were this season, it is ok.
Rednic: I trained true ultra -ultra -ultrase teams not as in Arad
I told them that I will not continue here, I wish the team much success. Here they have always been fighting only at the championship (ironic no), the year I am sure they will be a strong team, I am sure they will fight at the play-off. We went to Constanta to the ultra boys and they didn’t shout anything, even if we had won. The banners were ready, all things, I thought they were different.
However, I think there is and true supporters. I trained teams with real ultras, not like in Arad, with 150-200. I hope it is next to the team, even if they did not. Thank you to Mr. Meszar for bringing me here and I kept UTA in the first league ”said Mircea Rednic, according to digisport.ro.
Could return “home” to Corvin
The 63 -year -old technician could take over this summer a great tradition team in Romania, to which he put his shoulders, along with other great players, in the 80s: Corvinul Hunedoara, where he played with Ioan Andone, Misa Klein, Mircea Lucescu, Romică Gabor or Dorin Mateuț. Now, the current coach, Florin Maxim, is wanted by Hermannstadt, if Marius Măldărășanu will leave.
Instead of Maxim, Mircea Rednic is expected in Corvin. The winner of the Romanian Cup last season is trying to return to the foreground, and “Puriul” is seen as the man who could give a helping hand to restore a big name of Romanian football.
