Andi Moisescu, TV producer and jury of the show Romanians have talent, reacted publicly on Facebook after an older recording was taken out of context and used to suggest a false political affiliation.

In his post, Moisescu emphasizes that he is a rational voter, math graduate and supports democracy, education, progress and national unity. He expresses his desire for more and more Romanians to choose a European future and to reject any form of violence or hatred.

“Someone uses a very old video (from a ProTV campaign, many years ago), obviously out of context, in the desperate attempt to induce people that I would be a certain part of the barricade.

As a math graduate, I think it’s almost obvious to everyone as I vote.

Rationally, wisely.

For those who try to bring people closer and not to divide them. Against any form of violence or hatred.

For those who have the ability to listen and respect the debates. Against corruption and imposture.

For those who want to evolve, to go ahead, not to return to the past. For democracy and a European future.

For education and civilization.

With all these thoughts I will vote and this Sunday. With the hope that more and more Romanians will do the same ”.
