Guest on the show “In the Opposition“, moderated by Denise Rifai, the leader of AUR, George Simion, had a moment of sincerity, according to click.ro.
Asked if he was involved in tax evasion during the time he owned his own business, Simion confirmed this, without recalling the amount with which he damaged the state.
“I couldn’t estimate. I know I had a business that brought me between 5,000 and 7,000 euros, as an entrepreneur, but I couldn’t tell you how much I declared and how much I didn’t declare”said George Simion.
It is not the first time that George Simion has admitted that he made a fortune without following the law. He also said that an important source of income was the untaxed firecrackers that he sold to football galleries at the stadium. “We were selling these ultras clothes and products on the Internet and firecrackers more like New Year’s Eve and we didn’t tax them all.”
“I sold brand name clothes from the UK and Germany”
In the spring, Simion said in an interview that he owned a company that sold branded clothes from abroad.
“I had a work permit, I had a company as an entrepreneur, I made money for what I needed for my personal needs, I didn’t ask for money left, right, I managed from the age of 15, as I could. The trading company I had, with whom I opened a store in Calea Moșilor.
I sold brand clothes from Great Britain and Germany, we did imports, we did production in Romania, we made money”, told George Simion, in an interview with Valeriu Nicolae, on the YouTube channel “Official State of the Nation”.
