FCSB today plays the last match in the championship, with CFR Cluj, and the two teams have sadness: Radu Paligora, the doctor who worked on both bands, died after a long period of fighting with a serious illness.

“Today he left us, at the age of 50, the one who was a doctor, colleague and friend, Dr. Radu Paligora. Our club sends condolences to the grieving family. God rest in peace!”the FCSB club announced today.
Radu Paligora became a person known in Romanian football after occupying the position of doctor of the red-blue band between 2004 and 2014. After the time spent at FCSB, Paligora worked at Al-Hilal and Al-Wasl along with Laurențiu Reghecampf, with an experience in Ludogorets. In 2021, the doctor returned to Romania, being employed by CFR Cluj, to then work with Gică Hagi at Constanța Lighthouse (October 2021 – September 2022).
Radu Paligora fought in the last year with a serious illness, bone cancer, which, unfortunately, he could not defeat.
