President Nicușor Dan will dismiss six of the 11 presidential advisers he currently has. The new nominations are to be done on Monday and enter into force from November 1, informs G4media.

According to sources, the five counselors who would keep their functions are Mihai Şomordolea (Department of National Security and CSAT Secretary), Radu Burnete (Economic and Social Policy Department), Simona Maftei (President’s office), Delia Dinu (Protocol Department) and Florin Vlădică (Department of National Security).

Counselors to be dismissed

The same sources transmitted that the head of state would follow the decrees to dismiss the counselors and make the new nominations on Monday, October 6th.

The new counselors will take over their mandates from November 1.

Among those targeted by changes would be Cristian Diaconescu, Luminița Odobescu, Mariana Costea, Cătălin Galer, Gabriel Pișcociu, Lenuța Cobuz.

Who could take their place

According to G4Media information, the diplomat Marius Lazurca and the lawyer Cosmin Soarev would be appointed presidential advisers by Nicușor Dan.

The name of former Prime Minister Ludovic Orban, who supported him in the presidential campaigns of 2024-2025 on Elena Lasconi, respectively Nicușor Dan, is also transported for a position of presidential counselor who could be appointed next week.
