On World Physiotherapy Day, Romanians are invited to find out for free about non-invasive methods of managing back pain

Back pain is one of the most common health problems worldwide, affecting approximately 540 million people each year, according to the World Health Organization (WHO).

Low back pain is more common among women than men and tends to particularly affect people between the ages of 30 and 50. Without effective interventions and proper education, the incidence of back pain is expected to increase, affecting including children due to sedentary lifestyles and incorrect posture.

From an economic and social point of view, back pain is one of the main causes of work incapacity and absenteeism, having a major impact on productivity and quality of life.

To address this problem, on September 9, on the occasion of World Physiotherapy Day, patients from Romania and the diaspora are invited to participate in a free online event, entitled Stop Back Pain. The event is carried out by the first online assisted physiotherapy platform in Romania, it aims to educate and inform patients about non-invasive methods of managing low back pain, without the use of drugs or surgical interventions.

The event will start at 19:00, a time specially chosen by the organizers to allow access to as many participants as possible, regardless of their location. Being an online event, it can be followed by Romanians from the whole country, but also by those from the diaspora.

“We created this event out of the desire to be aligned with other countries in the world and, moreover, to be close to Romanians from everywhere, in the country and abroad. We want to give them access to free information and services, through which they can improve their quality of life.”, says physiotherapist Alexandru Ilie.
