“I strongly believe in the quality of the medical act and in respect of the patient! Starting with July 14, an online form dedicated to the notifications regarding the food in hospitals will be available on the website of the Ministry of Health.
I invite all the patients and the belongings to send us photos and information on how the food, its quality and portions are served.
It is an important step for transparency and improving conditions in hospitals. I want transparency and decent conditions for all patients. I’m here to make sure your voice matters“, The Minister of Health Alexandru Rogobete said on Facebook.
At the beginning of the year, ANPC inspectors discovered irregularities following the controls carried out in the food blocks from the Elias University Emergency Hospital and at the Bucharest University Emergency Hospital.
At the “Elias” Hospital, expired foods, dirty refrigerators and portions of food were discovered, much smaller than they should have been applied totaling 30,000 lei. In contrast, at the Bucharest University Emergency Hospital, only a sanction worth 1000 lei was applied.
