Dilema magazine, one of the most respected cultural publications in Romania, launches a new national contest dedicated to high school students in Romania and the Republic of Moldova. Along with her, as the main partner, is Penny, a constant supporter of educational and cultural initiatives for young people.
The contest is an invitation to authentic reflection and expression, a rare occasion for high school students to make their ideas known in a space that values critical thinking, dialogue and quality writing.
A provocative theme for young people: “We live in the best possible world”
The contest takes place in two stages and is open to all students in grades IX -XII. The first stage takes place between April 28 and June 27, 2025period in which participants can send their essays through

The theme of the first stage, “we live in the best possible world”, gives high school students to reflect on the reality in which they live and formulate their own point of view in an original text.
the 25 finalists will be announced on July 21, 2025. They will enter the second stage of the contest, scheduled between September 1 and November 1, 2025when they will write a new essay, on a different theme.
Significant prizes and a stake greater than money
The contest provides prizes in total value of 2,600 Euro netdistributed as follows:
● 1st place – 1,200 Euro net
● Second place – 800 euro net
● 3rd place – 600 euro net
Moreover, the winning essays will be published in the magazine Dilemmaboth in the printed and online edition – an important recognition for any young man at the beginning of the road.
