For those who have the children who go for the first time to the nursery and kindergartens, the registrations take place on May 26-30, 2025 in stage I, according to the calendar published in the Official Gazette on March 6, reports edupedu.ro
Parents of children between 3 months and 3 years may request the enrollment of children in educational units, submitting, on the free places left after re-enrollment, a request for registration at the educational unit chosen as an option, accompanied by the supporting documents, according to the methodology.
What does the registration file contain
The file for enrolling the child in a educational unit, as well as in the complementary early education service includes the following documents, according to art. (6) of the methodology:
a) a copy of the child’s birth certificate;
b) a copy of the identity documents of the parents/ legal representative;
c) the employee certificate for each of the parents/the legal representative or the certificate regarding the period of the child’s growth and care leave, for the type of extended program, respectively for enrollment in the pre -school education;
d) other supporting documents that are the subject of general or specific criteria for registration and which are analyzed during the registration process.
To the registration file add, at the beginning of the school year, the following documents:
a) certificate from the family doctor in which it is mentioned that the respective child is clinically healthy; The certificate is necessary on the first day of presentation of the child in the educational unit;
b) the epidemiological opinion/proof of vaccination drawn up according to the provisions elaborated by the Ministry of Health, regarding the entry of the child into the community, issued by the child’s family doctor before starting to attend the unit, according to art. 7.
In case the number of registration type requests received is greater than the number of free places, the Commission selects children in decreasing order and applies general and specific separation criteria.
Criteria for separation for kindergarten
The general criteria of separation that apply for the pre -school level are the following:
a) the child is 4 or 5 years old on September 1;
b) the domicile of the child/the residence/place of work of one of the parents/of the legal representative is located near the educational unit where the parent/legal representative submits the type of registration;
c) at least one of the parents/the legal representative of the child follows a form of up -to -date education;
d) the existence of a document that proves that it benefits from guardianship or a special protection measure established under the conditions of Law no. 272/2004, republished, with the subsequent modifications and completions;
e) the existence of a document that proves that it is in the care of a single parent (single -parent family)/the existence of a document that proves that the parent/legal representative of the child has 3 or more children (large family);
f) both parents/the single parent/the legal representative Ai/of the child works or at least one of them falls into one of the situations:
(i) retired in accordance with the legal provisions;
(ii) with a disability certificate;
(iii) unemployed, in search of a job, with supporting documents from the employment agency;
g) the existence of a medical certificate of classification in the degree of disability of the child and/or the certificate of school and professional orientation issued by CJRAE/CMBRAE;
h) the existence of a brother/sister registered/registered in the respective education unit, in the school year for which the enrollment is made.
The educational units with pre -school level groups and/or pre -school with extended program are addressed with priority to parents who work and, in this sense, both parents will submit to the registration file of employee.
