On the occasion of the meeting of social-democratic leaders from the European Union, Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu will have a series of high-level meetings with the Prime Minister of Spain, Pedro Sanchez, the Chancellor of Germany, Olaf Scholz, the Prime Minister of Denmark, Mette Frederiksen, the President of PES, Stefan Lofven, the joint candidate of PES for the presidency of the European Commission, Nicolas Schmit, as well as with other social democratic leaders in Europe, informed the Social Democratic Party, in a press release, quoted by Agerpres.
According to the quoted source, the joint electoral program of the social democrats for the European Parliament will be adopted during the congress and the joint candidate of the PES for the presidency of the European Commission will be appointed.
