The father, who was already sought by the Spanish authorities for several crimes, first crossed the border in Portugal, then in Germany, where some members of his family lived and where he was known to carry out criminal activities. There he was caught by the authorities, and the international operation led to the minor recovery in Romania.
The investigation, coordinated by the Ferrol-Narón police, involved the collaboration of the judicial and police authorities in several countries. On September 11, the little girl was located in Bucharest, in the company of the paternal grandmother. A few hours later, the father was arrested while trying to run to Germany again.
Currently, the man is in custody, waiting for the judicial procedures, and the minor has already been entrusted to his mother, being safe.
