A document sent to school inspectorates by the Ministry of Education shows that the 2024 Baccalaureate diplomas can be issued before the final results are displayed, if candidates do not file appeals.

Baccalaureate diplomas of students who passed the exam and did not challenge the grades can be issued before the final results are displayed, but only after the end of the period for submitting challenges, according to a document signed by Kallos Zoltan, Secretary of State in the Ministry of Education and President of the National Commission of Baccalaureate, reports Edupedu.
The written tests of the Baccalaureate exam take place this year between July 1 and 5, while between June 17 and 27 the skills assessment takes place, according to the official calendar. Students can submit appeals on July 8, 2024, after the results of the written tests are posted. Between July 9 and 11, appeals will be resolved. Display of final results takes place on July 12, 2024.
“The baccalaureate diplomas can be issued, upon request, to candidates who passed the baccalaureate exam in the special session of May 2024, the session of June-July 2024, respectively the session of August 2024 and did not submit an appeal, before the final results are displayed, but only after the completion the period for submitting appealsr”, it is stated in the document of the Ministry of Education, according to the quoted source.
Officials from the ministry urge that diplomas be issued with priority for graduates whose enrollment in college is conditional on the presentation of the BAC diploma: “We recommend the issuance, with priority, of the baccalaureate diploma to candidates whose enrollment in higher education institutions in the period immediately following the completion of the baccalaureate exam is conditional on its presentation“, the document shows.
In order for a student to pass the Baccalaureate exam, he must have taken the written tests and obtained at least a grade of five in each of them, have the overall average of the three written tests at least six and have passed or passed all the tests assessment of linguistic and digital skills.
