The casino in Constanța will soon host a cafe-bistro for the general public, as a result of a public tender announced on Wednesday, October 15, by the local authorities.

“Thus, in The casino in Constanța will be equipped with a space dedicated to expanding the range of services for the general public, through a café-bistro concept, which will be awarded following a public tender. According to the tender documentation, in the future cafe-bistro it will be possible to sell soft and alcoholic drinks, coffee, as well as cold dishes, without thermal cooking procedures”, said the representatives of the Casino.
Interested legal entities can submit the concept and offer for the operation of the space until December 12, 2025. The available space is spread over the ground floor and basement, having approximately 550 usable square meters, to which is added the 324 square meter outdoor terrace with a sea view.
“The starting price of the auction was established following a technical-economic analysis and amounts to 48,700 lei per month, without VAT, the amount representing the monthly rent for the future operator. The final value of the rent will be determined based on the winning offer”, they added.
The initial contract will be valid for four years, with the possibility of extension for another two years.

The winner will be designated by a committee made up of representatives of the Constanța Municipal Council, the company Patrimoniu Constanța Litoral SRL and ANAF.
The auction is open to Romanian and foreign legal entities that pay all their taxes, are not insolvent and submit complete documentation. Offers must be sent in two sealed envelopes to the address of the Casino in Constanța, Boulevard Elisabeta, no. 4, until December 12, 4:00 p.m.
The casino in Constanța was closed to the public in 2008, due to its advanced state of decay. The rehabilitation work was completed in 2025 and the objective was reopened in May.
“Since the reopening, more than 175,000 visitors have crossed the threshold of the Casino, which has become a landmark of cultural life in Constanța, open to both the local and international public”, the representatives of the administration sent.
