A Romanian family that chose a five-star hotel in Turkey had an extremely unpleasant experience, including with the hotel employees. The pictures they posted on a tourist forum speak for themselves about what they found there.

If in Romania the summer season has ended, in countries like Turkey and Greece people are still enjoying the sun and bathing in the azure waters of the sea. However, it sometimes happens that what should have been the perfect vacation turns into a nightmare, and in some cases it is the hosts themselves who are to blame. This convinced a family who recently chose to spend their vacation in Turkey, but what they found at the hotel ruined their vacation. The Romanian recounted what happened on a Facebook group dedicated to those who spend their vacations in Turkey.
“Kaya Palazzo, a miserable hotel. I got superior accommodation at the lagoons, a lot of money and mess. I traveled with my one-year-old daughter. Insects, dirt, bloodstains on the underwear and no one was doing anything. Theoretically, they cleaned every day, changed the stained linen with another stained one. I killed 3 spiders that were walking on the bedside table, and after I caused a scandal, my room was changed to one in which there were butterflies. Scandal again, and when I got to the room, the cleaning women were just leaving, but the insects were dancing behind them. The explanation was that they stay at the lagoons and it’s nature. They all laughed in their faces and did nothing. The strong point was only the food, which was really very good. Otherwise…disgusting“, said the Romanian. The photos she posted are below.
Pros and cons
Many were quick to prove him right, but there were also voices that contradicted it. Finally, others contested the choice made.
“Kaya network, this year is a disaster”someone wrote. “We went to Kaya Belek and it was wonderful! I can’t say anything disturbing”contradicted other ladies.
“Stop choosing no name hotels… Even on a budget, you can find something decent…”was another reply. “Correct. And even at the last minute you find something super good. Those who keep whining, I think they don’t know how to choose top resorts by ear, that’s how it turns out”wrote another.
However, he was contradicted in turn. “How about false advertising? About 4.5 stars? About the fact that you buy a ticket through an agency that guarantees you something? And about the answers. That this is not the EU, we are not obliged to respect their standards. I have experienced something like this! It doesn’t matter the price in the end! Seriousness and fairness matter”a woman wrote to him.
“Possible. We last year twice in Antalya, different locations: Falcon Hotel (all inclusive)/Lara ultra all inclusive. No comment both. The truth is that there are also haters or haters. If I see a harmless gauze, which is normal to be in that area, that’s it, the location is naspa”, insisted the contradicted one. “These butterflies are not normal in rooms“, someone else agreed.
“Kaya Palazzo Golf e no name?”, asked another netizen in surprise. “I don’t think it’s about that one”someone tried to defend him. “That’s exactly what it’s about”stated the author of the post. “This is not a no name hotel, it is Kaya Palazzo, hotel located in the center of Belek, what exactly did you not understand?”, someone else also put it to the point. “There was no name. It is highly promoted in the agencies“, pointed out another internet user. “It’s a 5-star hotel, even with a room in a more exclusive area“, returned the author of the original post.
And others have had identical problems
Other tourists also went through similar experiences and were dissatisfied with the conditions encountered in that hotel.
“We also went to Kaya Belek and were not satisfied with the conditions in which two rooms were 5,200 euros. When we arrived, I asked them to wipe us on the floor one more time, it was dusty if you waved and we had a baby. The rooms were not renovated, practically not worth 5 stars. Lots of food, but not to our taste. The air conditioning did not work within normal parameters, in conditions where it was 44 degrees. There were also ants. Therefore, I do not recommend this hotel”, someone commented.
“We had the same bad experience this year at this hotel. Dirty dishes on the table, sticky tables because they didn’t clean them, the maid used my perfume every day, the playground dirty. Terrible! (and many other details that ruined my vacation)”someone else wrote.
“We went to Kaya Side this year. I have never found such a mess anywhere. Out of 6 people, 5 of us got enterocolitis, as did half the hotel,” someone else reinforced. “Lots of money and lousy conditions”, “Huge price for such a thing” and “Woe” there were other comments from Romanians who went through similar experiences.
