According to the National Meteorological Administration (ANM), an orange code warning will be in force in areas of Banat, Crişana, Maramureş, Oltenia, most of Transylvania and the western half of Muntenia.

Also in these regions, the temperature-humidity index (ITU) will exceed the critical threshold of 80 units, and the maximum temperatures will be between 37 and 40 degrees, and in Oltenia, the south of Banat, locally in Muntenia will not go down below 20 degrees, characterizing a tropical night.

Also, from Friday morning to Saturday, a yellow code of warm weather in Moldova, Dobrogea, in the eastern half of Muntenia and eastern Transylvania will be in force, where the maximum temperatures will be between 33 and 38 degrees.

At the same time, ITU will reach or easily exceed the critical threshold of 80 units, while the thermal minimums will generally be between 16 and 21 degrees Celsius.
