The Moon of the Vervisces brings to the stage of the Bucharest National Opera a series of shows dedicated to love, including the masterpiece “Romeo and Juliet” by Sergei Prokofiev, one of the most emotional musical adaptations of the Shakespearean drama. The show will take place on February 23 and promises to provide the public with an unforgettable artistic experience.

The public will also have the opportunity to follow exceptional performances, such as “Coppélia” by Léo Delibes (February 19), a charming ballet, inspired by the Sand Man of Et Hoffmann, “Coppélia”, who combines comedy and fantasy in a story about a man obsessed with a mechanical doll. The show is famous for East-European folk dances and mechanical doll waltz.

On February 20, you can follow “Evgheni Oneghin” by Piotr Ilici Tchaikovski, an adaptation of the novel in lyrics written by Aleksandr Pushkin, which captures the drama of a young Russian aristocrat who rejects the sincere love of Tatiana, only to later regret his choice.

On February 21, the scene of the Bucharest National Opera brings to the fore the Pellea in the foreground in the role of the legendary soprano Maria Callas, in an emotional show signed by Terrence Mcnally.

And on February 22 you can follow “Samson and Dalila” by Camille Saint-Saëns, a passionate work inspired by Samson and Dalila’s biblical story.
