“INTOLERABLE! When using the word “autistic” as an insult, we do not witness a simple escape of language. We are witnessing a demonstration of ignorance and contempt for hundreds of thousands of people and families living with autism in Romania. ”
The organization points out that such statements are not only disrespectful, but represent a violation of human dignity and a direct attack on the efforts of parents, educators, therapists and people with autism, who fight daily for inclusion and acceptance.
“Stigmatization is not an opinion. Discrimination is not a joke. The language that degrades and discriminates is not acceptable.”
Autism Voice demands firm responsibility and a minimum level of social consciousness from those who aspire to management positions in a democratic state.

The child’s message was published by his father on Facebook and aroused a wave of emotion in the online environment.
In the letter, Marian Grigor describes a series of personal qualities and activities expressing their empathy and civic sense.
“My name is Grigor Marian, I am from Sighetu-Marmatiei, I am 12 years old and I have autism! I tell you a few things about myself:-I never lie because I do not know!-I am very loved and I love everyone around me! -I am always punctual and I have no absence at school!
