“A rare artist: talented and discreet”

Senator Ionuț Vulpescu announced, on Friday, with regret, the passing of the actor and theologian Răzvan Ionescu.

“He was a rare artist: talented and discreet, star during his college years, actor of the National Theater and the Bulandra Theater, trained and chosen by great directors, stage partner of some exceptional actors. He had genuine literary talent and was a refined and polemical theologian, with an expressiveness of ideas that came from a living, restless, assumed faith. He spoke at the funeral of Father Dumitru Stăniloae, with a gravity and a light that defined him”, wrote Vulpescu, also on Facebook.
