On the morning of June 25, 2024, students from all over the country were assessed in the first test of the 2024 National Assessment, dedicated to the Romanian Language and Literature. The topics in Romanian included a fragment from “Cireșarii” by Constantin Chiriță and a short story by Cella Delavrancea entitled “Portret”. In the Romanian Language and Literature test, the students had to solve requirements based on two texts. The first part included 9 requirements and the grammar part 8 requirements. In topic II, students had to write a composition of 150 words to characterize Tic from “The Cherries”, this topic worth 20 points.
The subjects from the Romanian Language and Literature written test within the National Assessment were considered medium to easy by the specialized teachers. Mihaela Apetrei, teacher of the Romanian Language, mentioned that the subjects reflect the subject studied, but in the simplest aspects, without allowing an effective division between the students. Ruxandra Achim, a teacher at the “IL Caragiale” National College, appreciated the subjects in Romanian as “beautiful and accessible“.
