The water supply resumes in Moreni, from Wednesday evening: it can only be used for toilet hygiene

The County Committee for Emergency Situations (CJSU) Dâmbovița announced on Wednesday evening the resumption of water supply in Moreni, a city affected by the water crisis. The authorities have issued a Ro-Alert message for residents, drawing attention to the fact that the water is not for drinking, cooking or personal hygiene.

“We note the solution adopted by the Târgoviște-Dâmbovița Water Company regarding the distribution of water for home sanitation (toilet hygiene) in the Moreni Municipality, from the sources of the Moreni Automecanica Plant through the by-pass created in this regard, following a schedule established by the Târgoviște-Dâmbovița Water Company for so long as far as the laboratory analyzes performed allow this”it is stated in the CJSU decision.

According to it, the water delivered through the new system “will be used exclusively for sanitizing the toilets”.

The decision states that “it is prohibited to use the supplied water for drinking, personal hygiene (hand washing, body washing), washing fruits, vegetables, washing dishes and cooking”.

In this regard, the authorities have also issued a Ro-Alert message, according to which the power will be restored on Wednesday evening at 20:00.
