An athlete from Sibiu is the only one from the county who obtained a grade 10 in the Baccalaureate exam. This graduate of the “Gheorghe Lazăr” National College in Sibiu, but also a basketball player.
Paul Itu has been playing at CSU Sibiu since he was 7 years old. From now on, his plans will focus on college.
“I’m very happy. I expected to get a high score, but I didn’t expect a clean 10. I woke up, checked my phone and was quite surprised. I really didn’t expect such a high score.” Paul stated.
He also added that his parents were pleasantly surprised by the grade and are very proud of him.
Preparation for the exam differed by discipline. The learning process started right from the 9th grade, when he was barely stepping on the high school benches.
“In mathematics, I prepared for the Baccalaureate since the 9th grade. In biology and the Romanian language, I started preparing about a month before the exam, but very intensively”the graduate confessed.
Paul will study Business Management at the prestigious university in Brussels, KU Leuven, a choice he says suits him and offers him more opportunities for development.
“I found a college that I like, in a field that I’m passionate about. I think abroad that I can also develop more personally.” Paul explained.
Also, two students from Hunedoara county obtained an average of 10 in the July session of the Baccalaureate exam, Ana Maria Chirițoiu from Hunedoara and Victor Buble from Simeria, being congratulated by the authorities and the management of the schools where they come from
“Ana-Maria Chirițoiu from Colegiul National Iancu de Hunedoara is the only graduate from the municipality of Hunedoara who obtained an average of 10 in the Baccalaureate, this session. Practically, she confirmed her status as head of promotion.
