The band Vunk returns with a new song together with Lidia Buble, entitled “Boomerang”, composed by Cornel Ilie, the band’s soloist. The song invites the fans to a carousel of emotions.
“The boomerang has officially been thrown at you! Now it’s your turn to throw it into your world! Go to YouTube to see the clip and tell us in the comments which is your favorite line” writes on Vunk’s Facebook page.
After the success of their first collaboration, “Come, go“, which from the first day became the most downloaded song in Romania and one of the most sought-after songs, dominating the music charts, Vunk returns with this new song together with Lidia Buble, according to a press release quoted by Agerpres:
“Boomerang explores a complicated and tense relationship in which one partner, aware of his mistakes and imperfections, keeps coming back to the other, regardless of obstacles.”
The song “Boomerang” was composed by Cornel Ilie, the band’s soloist, and produced together with Gabriel Maga, Vunk’s guitarist.

The video was directed by Isabella Szanto, was shot over the course of a day and captures Lidia and the band members singing in a vibrant setting that alternates between intimate moments and concert scenes.
“The song Boomerang perfectly captures the essence of a complicated love story: a carousel of emotions that takes you through all the states. The video perfectly illustrates this tumult: it is dynamic, unexpected, explosive. Reuniting with the band Vunk in the studio was a joy: as in the case of the song ‘Come, go’, everything went naturally. The recording came out of the first one, because I really like the song and its message full of emotion”said Lidia Buble.
The band Vunk celebrates this year 30 years since their first ticketed concert, being an innovative band in Romanian rock. In 2018, the band Vunk became the protagonist of the first documentary of a Romanian artist “I swear to tell the truth”
