Images of two deer in the snow, between fir trees, were filmed by the mountain gendarmes in the Rodna Mountains and published on the Facebook page. Gendarmerie officials point out that this is the advantage when you have your “office” in nature.

Two deer coming out of the forest, in a clearing, between fir trees, were filmed in the Rodnei Mountains, by a crew of mountain gendarmes, the film being made public on Sunday, by the Gendarmerie.

“We share with you moving images of two deer, caught by the mountain police on a trail in the area of ​​the Rotunda Pass in the Rodna Mountains. This is the advantage when you have your “office” right in the heart of nature!”, according to a post on Facebook by the Romanian Gendarmerie.

The Rodnei Mountains National Park, one of the 22 national and natural parks managed by the National Forestry Authority – Romsilva, is the second national park in the country in terms of area, with over 47,000 hectares, being located in the northern part of the country, in the counties of Maramureș and Bistrița-Năsăud.

According to Romsilva specialists, the deer is a herbivorous animal adapted to mountainous areas, but it can also be found in hilly areas, and in recent decades it has also been reintroduced to lowland areas.

“The deer is sociable from autumn to spring, during which the males group in herds of bulls, led by a young stag, and the females in separate herds of fawns, led by the oldest fawn. In the herds of fawns, there are always calves and even second-year stags mixed in.”claim those from Romsilva.
